Then this is the course for you!

We will show you how to evocatively use creative words to compliment your photographs, and vice versa.

This workshop is designed to address the techniques of capturing, producing and presenting stories in both word and image.  

It addresses the issues from either preference. 

Some students will have a particular leaning towards  photography whilst others will have competent writing skills. In either case, the course will help students to understand and acquire the skills needed to create highly evocative visual and verbal narratives.

The course is based on the principle of Project Based Learning and students can produce and present assignments based on practical projects. 

The following is a broad breakdown of the issues covered  

 Composition and the decisive moment for narrative impact.

 Descriptive writing.

 The art of caption writing for maximum clarity and impact.

 Producing word/image features for publication.
