Festival Launch - Literally Feasting  (University of the Sunshine Coast), Monday, 2 June 2008, 6.00-8.00 pm, cost $25.50 pp.  Meet the presenters, taste the flavour of the festival plus music, fine finger food and drinks.

"Get Writing!" - Adult Writing Workshops (University of the Sunshine Coast), Tuesday, 3 June 2008, 9.00 am-2.15 pm, cost $12 per workshop.  Aimed at adults and Year 11 and 12 students.

"Story Journeys" (University of the Sunshine Coast), Tuesday, 3 June 2008, 12.00-12.45 pm, cost $6.50 pp.  Listen to author Susanne Gervay discuss story journeys empowering young people and parents/adults.

NIMS Island Film Screening with Wendy Orr (Maroochy Birch Carroll and Coyle Cinemas), Tuesday, 3 June 2008, 6.00 pm, cost $10.00 pp.  Find out how Wendy's book became a major motion file staring Jodie Foster, followed by a screening.
