As part of National Lutheran Schools Week, the prestigious Rolph Mayer Awards for Teacher Excellence were presented.  Mrs Miriam Gerhardy, Immanual Lutheran College's Junior School Learning Support Teacher was a recipient in recognition of her outstanding care for and service to students.  Mrs Gerhardy has also contributed to the leadership and development of a support network for Learning Support teachers across the local district of Lutheran Education Queensland.  Immanuel Lutheran College's Secondary School teacher, Mrs Sue Munchenberg was also duly honoured.
