The Premier's Reading Challenge is a statewide initiative aimed at improving literacy, cultivating a passion for literature and encouraging children to read for pleasure and learning.
Children who take up the challenge and read 20 books between 28 May and 5 September will receive a signed certificate from the Premier.
If you are in Prep, Year 1 and Year 2 you can also count books that you have shared with an adult, listened to, or have been read to. The list of titles and other relevant information is available from http://education.qld.gov.au/schools/readingchallenge/
