INCENTIVE SCHEME

The Australian Government is offering up to $6,000 to help you to return to a career in nursing.

If you were thinking of returning to work as a nurse or midwife - now is a good time for action.  In addition, the Government is offering funding to employers to help meet the cost of any re-training you may need.  Even if you have been out of nursing or midwifery for some time, your skills are still valued and needed by hospitals, aged care services and local communities throughout Australia. 

More areas now qualify for the $6,000 cash incentives, including:

Government or private hospitals

Residential and community-based aged care

Day surgery hospitals

Other community-based health settings
