Diploma of Building Design and Technology
Location: Nambour campus
Program duration: 2 Semesters full-time commencing February and July
Entry Requirements: Completion of Certificate IV in Residential Drafting (or equivalent)
This program covers specialist skills, including theory and practice in design, site surveys, construction technology, materials, 3D computer aided drafting, project administration, digital presentation and commercial working drawings. The qualification is recognised by the Queensland Building Services Authority and is a pathway to a Drafting Licence. Career opportunities include designer/draftsperson.
