The following diplomas in the area of Children's Services are being offered on the Sunshine Coast:
Sunshine Coast Institute of TAFE
Diploma of Children's Services
Location: Nambour Campus
Program duration: 3 Semesters full-time commencing February; flexible delivery ongoing enrolments.
Entry Requirements: Year 12 or equivalent with sound English skills, completion of Year 10 or its equivalent, or mature age entry or completion of Certificate III in Children's Services.
This program enables you to work in positions of child care group leaders, family day carers, kindergarten, pre-school and primary school teacher aides, out-of-school hours care and vacation care program directors and assistants.

Diploma of Children's Services - Flexible Delivery
Location: Caloundra, Noosa and Nambour Campus
Program duration: Self paced, but encouraged to be completed in approximately two years.
Entry Requirements: Currently need to be working in the Child CAre Industry and have completed the Certificate III in Children's Services.
Mid-Year Intake: Intake according to Flexible Delivery Orientation Schedule.
This program is for professionals who are currently working in the Child Care Industry and wish to undertake employment in a Licensed Child Care Service.

Advanced Diploma of Children's Services Upgrade Course
Location: Nambour Campus (Flexible delivery) with student support in Noosa and Caloundra through Flexible Delivery Unit
Program duration: 3 Semesters part-time and flexible delivery study.
Entry Requirements: Diploma of Children's Services. Also have to be currently employed in children services organisation.
Mid-Year Intake: Yes - flexible start
