TAFE Student Information Evening, Maroochydore Campus

The FREE Sunshine Coast TAFE Student Information Evening will be held on Thursday, 22 January from 5.30 pm to 8.00 pm at the Maroochydore Campus, 170 Horton Parade. The aim of the evening is to assist those wishing to study in 2009. You can take a tour of the campus and find out specific course information and enrol on the night, if you wish. Areas showcased include security, business, small business, project management, business administration, real estate, justice administration, finance and accounting, retail, training and assessment and frontline management. New Residential Tenancies and Rooming Accommodation Act - Free Seminar

To educate the public about rent-related changes to the Act, the RTA are holding a free seminar.  The new Act will be effective on July 1 and changes will apply to those renting and managing residential property.  The seminar will be held on 17 June at the Novotel Twin Waters at 2.00 pm and 6.00 pm.  Seats are limited.  Register or find out more at www.rta.qld.gov.au  

 

De Facto Couples' Property Rights 
The Sunshine Coast Council is holding a free seminar on the new laws regarding de facto property rights on 22 June at Caloundra Library.  A local Lawyer will be on hand to explain the new rules and answer questions at the seminar starting at 10.00 am.  For more info call (07) 5491 1255.
