Arts Connect is a membership-driven association of visual and performing artists that seeks to stimulate and connect people through the arts. The Heart Foundation has a network of local volunteer speakers available to visit your club, community group or organisation to speak about general heart health. The focus is on the benefits of lifestyle change and practical information on how to go about it. Adult Literacy Classes
Maleny Library offers free adult literacy classes for adults needing help with reading, writing and speaking English, everyday numeracy, reading newspapers and filling in forms. Students work with tutors and sometimes in small groups. The course is held weekly on Wednesdays from 12.30 to 3.30 pm. Eligible participants can enrol any time during the year. The new tennis academy is based at Palmwoods Tennis Club with sessions held at Buderim, Mooloolaba and Mountain Creek (State Schools).
